To upgrade from a previous version of Cloud Cruiser, perform the following procedure:

  1. Go to download.cloudcruiser.com and navigate to the appropriate directory to download the product installer executable.
NOTE: This is a secured web site. You will need to enter your user ID and password. Contact Cloud Cruiser if you need assistance.
  2. Download the product appropriate for your operating system: Linux or Windows.
  3. Run the installer executable.
This opens an installation wizard that will step you through the upgrade.
If you have a Linux installation and the installer does not detect your existing installation and say that it will run as an update, then Cloud Cruiser is installed in an unexpected location. Quit the installer, set the value of your CCAPP_ROOT environment variable to your Cloud Cruiser installation directory path, and rerun the installer.
  4. Remove old reports as described in Removing old reports.
